Ballot Questions

Shall the school board of Independent School District No. 2898 (Westbrook-Walnut Grove) be authorized to issue its general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $3,000,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including the construction of repairs and improvements to roofing and sidewalks at the Westbrook site and facility; the construction of repairs and improvements to roofing and sidewalks at the Walnut Grove site and facility; and the completion of various deferred maintenance projects districtwide?

Shall the school board of lndependent School District No. 2886 (Glenville­ Emmons Schools) be authorized to issue its general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $24,425,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including the construction of a secure entrance at the elementary school; the construction and equipping of a career and technical education (CTE) addition at the high school; updates and improvements to the fitness center and existing CTE facilities at the high school; the completion of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility improvements to bathrooms, learning spaces and the high school locker room; the removal of asbestos from school buildings; and the construction of upgrades and improvements to HVAC, roofing, water systems, flooring and finishes at school sites and facilities?

Shall the City of International Falls be authorized to issue general obligation capital improvement bonds in an amount not to exceed $2,755,00 to provide funds for the renovation of the public works equipment garage and sewer vactor garage in the City, as requested by a petition of electors?

The school board of Independent School District No. 600 (Fisher Public Schools) has proposed to increase its general education revenue by $1,253.90 per pupil. The proposed referendum revenue authorization would be applicable for ten years beginning with taxes payable in 2026. Shall the increase in the revenue proposed by the school board of Independent School District No. 600 be approved?

Shall the school board of Independent School District No. 707 (Nett Lake) be authorized to issue its general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $495,000 to provide funds for a phased program of acquisition and betterment of school sites, facilities and equipment, with said bonds to be repaid from funds on hand and available in the debt redemption fund of the school district?

Shall the City Council of the City of Clarkfield be allowed to issue on-sale licenses to restaurants, clubs, bowling centers and hotels for the sale of intoxicating liquor at retail on Sundays?

Shall the board of Independent School District No. 2190 (Yellow Medicine East), Minnesota be authorized to issue general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $74,395,000 for acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities including, but not limited to, construction of a new elementary school and secondary school facility attached to the existing gymnasium facility, with secure entrances, outdoor site and athletic improvements and new spaces for technical, agricultural and fine arts education?
